Le Coureur was built in Dunkirk in 1776 year so two years before outbreak the next war between England and France from 1775 thirteen rebellious provinces combated for independence on American continent. Heavy and ferocious battle lasted near five hours. Both of frigates have experienced heavy damages so that they have receded from battle and they have managed for mother harbours for repairs.
