The French Kermorvan lighthouse was built in 1849 at Cape Finisterre in Brittany. 
Founded on the rock at the far end of the peninsula Kermorvan, it is connected to the mainland by a granite bridge. 
The square tower of the lighthouse has a height of 20.3 meters and the light is 22 meters above sea level. 
The lighthouse has been automated since 1994 and is remotely controlled from Brest.
