Lighthouse Sälskär stands on the tiny island of Sälskär, which is situated near the south west coast of Finland. 
Built from brick, it is a round tower 30 m tall with the light positioned 44 m above sea level. 
The lighthouse was designed by Axel Hampus Dalstrom and was built in 1868. 
In 1949 it became automated, with the light being visible every 12 seconds from a distance of 12 km.
