Bunthäuser Spitze lighthouse is positioned on a peninsula which divides the river Elbe into South and North
in the town of Hamburg - Moorwerder, at the altitude of Gauert. Built of wood in a hexagonal shape,
it has an interesting architecture and coloring. The lighthouse was decommissioned in 1977. 
After restoration in 1989, it now serves as a monument.
